As a writer, photographer and artist with a vivid imagination and an active dreamworld, my mind is constantly in overload. I can hardly take a step without seeing something in a different light from a different perspective  each time I think about things and look at things. Every day, we take in our world and then we take it home with us.  Our world becomes us. The world we make for ourselves becomes our reality. Then our reality becomes our truth. Our truth becomes our faith. Our faith becomes our hope. Our hope becomes our salvation. Our salvation becomes our goal.  Anne Michael

Four aspects of life, that truly light a fire in my soul, are those that render women and children at risk, the environmental impact of  people’s actions,  the need of each human being to be loved and to love and the mystery of salvation. Those are the aspects of life that stoke the fire in my belly.

Women and children at risk reveal themselves: 1) in everyday life,  2) on domestic fronts, 3) in social settings, 4) in health and employment statistics, 5) in cultural beliefs and 6) in self-confidence issues.

My fictional and nonfiction writing in adult novels and children’s books interweave these issues into age appropriate stories with lessons and morals about life and social enlightenment.
